The Second Annual Meeting

The second annual meeting of Albanian Imaging Association

The second annual meeting of Albanian Imaging Association (AIA) was held on October 28th in Tirana. In this event took part 200 participants from Albania and Kosovo.

The opening and welcome speech was held by the general secretary of AIA and the head of Imaging and Radiology Prof. Md. Krenar Preza.

In the first session have been treated the following themes echografic assessment of prostate cancer, breast cancer, cervical lymphadenopathy, pathologies of parotis gland, neuroepithelial and dysepithelial tumors.

In the second session were discussed themes concerning with the radiological data from conventional radiology, CT and MRI in gastrointestinal lymphomas, brain AVM, rheumatoid arthritis, Wegener’s disease, ovarian tumors etc.

The president of the Albanian Imaging Association Prof. Md. Aqif Gjokuaj held the closing speech considering the second annual meeting a very successful one. He thanked all the participants and especially the theme referents.
