With 168 members from Albania, Kosovo, Japan, and USA, our society contributes towards the integration and progress of the Albanian medical system with western systems and their experience.
The unification of the Albanian diagnostic radiological procedures with European and World standards is the practical achievement that A.I.A is seeking for, in both university hospitals and post-university fields.
A.I.A. is recognized and praised from the European Society of Radiology (E.S.R.) for its progress in education and professional achievements in this important branch of medicine in Albania.
Staff and Board of Directors
Albanian Imaging Association (A.I.A ) is a voluntary organization for all radiologists and other medical staff who work in the radiological diagnostic imaging and related sciences.
A.I.A. is recognized and praised from the European Society of Radiology (E.S.R.) for its progress in education and professional achievements in this important branch of medicine in Albania.
A.I.A. is currently taking steps to unify its programs with those of E.S.R. In 2005, the formerly known "Albanian Radiological Society" was reorganized and became Albanian Imaging Association undertaking the new mission to bring its objectives and values in par with European standards.
Following the legal procedure based on the A.I.A. statute, the society elected in the founding meeting its new board of directors as :
